About DeepBridge Partners

Venture-grade diligence, on the founder’s side of the table.

DeepBridge Partners is an institutional capital-readiness advisory firm. We perform venture-capital-grade due diligence on behalf of founders — resolving the commercial, financial, governance, and strategic issues that most often delay or prevent successful financings.

We work from the perspective of an investment committee.

Our approach combines venture-capital discipline with operational commercialization expertise. Rather than waiting for investors to identify weaknesses during diligence, we work with management teams to proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve them.

Engagements typically focus on companies preparing for Pre-Seed through Series A financing, though we also advise later-stage businesses entering significant commercialization milestones or transitioning toward infrastructure-scale investment.

Lisa Bratt

Managing Partner — Finance & Institutional Strategy

Lisa Bratt divides her time between New York City and Austin, Texas. She has worked in finance since graduating university, across securities trading, hedge funds, micro-VC, private placements, and social enterprise. She began her career as an equity trader at Citigroup before moving to a hedge fund housed at Oppenheimer & Co., where she helped manage trading operations as the fund grew from $500 million to $4 billion.

She leads the firm’s finance and institutional strategy practice, advising Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A life sciences companies at the $2M–$30M scale. She previously spent eight years as an investment advisor and founded a hybrid private-investment housing enterprise in New York that rehabilitated and managed $4.43 million of underused real estate at below-market rates.

Her advisory work extends internationally: social enterprise frameworks for NGOs across Southeast Asia, and environmental-impact projects in Thailand and Sri Lanka. She served as Board Chair of the Kota Alliance, a New York nonprofit incubator for women-led organizations. She holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Connecticut.

Kim Wong

Strategic Advisor — Venture Capital & Capital Markets

Kim Wong has spent more than three decades in investment banking, venture capital, and startup advisory, working with emerging technology companies as they prepare for angel and venture financing.

Kim began his career at major Canadian and US investment banks before co-founding Acumen Capital Partners, a Calgary-based investment bank focused on public and private emerging technology and advanced manufacturing companies, where he served as President, Managing Partner, and Director. He later led Foundry Ventures, a venture capital firm spun off from Acumen that funded pre-commercial technology startups not yet ready for public-market capital.

As a consultant, Kim has advised hundreds of primarily technology-focused startups and early-stage companies ahead of their fundraising rounds, giving founders a firsthand understanding of how investors evaluate opportunities, structure financings, and assess risk.

Kim holds a B.Admin from the University of Regina and is the author of the forthcoming The Founder’s Gauntlet: The Complete Fundraising and Startup Companion from Ideation to Exit.
